Payroll Compliance Practitioner Program

EMPLOYERS ARE SEEKING PAYROLL PROFESSIONALS
This project will provide successful participants with the skills, knowledge, practical experience, and certification to seek employment as a Payroll Administrator.
Successful participants will build on the foundation of accounting principles, gain workplpace essential skills, take part in a coooperative work experience, and be certified as a Payroll Compliance Practitioner including a one-year membership to The Canadian Payroll Association.  You may qualify for income support during training.

NW Exploring Future Careers Camp

In this 5 day/night camp, youth will gain the opportunity to:
- Meet other youth.
- Receive information about education & training, academic requirements, financial aid, and campus life.
- Participate in industry tours.
- Obtain Food Safe certification.
- Meet Elders and Role Models from the community.
- Learn about Métis culture and traditions.
- Develop employability skills.
- Attend & participate in evening outdoor recreational activities.

Northwest Trades Work

Interpretive Assistance Guide Program

Rupertsland Institute is seeking 8 female and 8 male Métis youth between the ages of 15 – 17 who are attending school on a regular basis.
This two week summer program will provide you with career exposure in Interpretive Guides / Group Leaders in Environment, History and Adventure Training through work experience.
You’ll also receive certification in Standard First Aid, Wilderness First Aid and Survival Training, Outdoor Council of Canada Level 1 Apprentice Hiking Leader, Rider Level 1, and Arrows, Bows & Targets.

Heavy Equipment Operator
